1- Introduction
These are the Unipal Terms and Condition (“Terms”). These Terms apply in full force and effect to your use of Unipal’s platform, the applications, websites and other services in or to which these Terms are linked (“Services”). The Services are made available by Unipal, Inc. and their affiliates (altogether, “Unipal”, “we”, or “us”). These Terms apply whether you are a Member (as defined in Section 2) or just browsing. Unipal, Inc. is incorporated and registered in Delaware, US and wholly owns Student Platform W.L.L registered in Bahrain under CR number 127080-1. By using Unipal and its Services, you expressly accept all Terms contained herein in full. You must not use Unipal if you have any objection to these Terms.
2- What is Unipal?
Unipal provides students access to exclusive discounts and offers (“Benefits”), from participating brands and service providers (“Partners”) that advertise their brand, product and services on Unipal and its Services.
Students must verify themselves through Unipal’s verification system (“Verification”). A Verified student (“Member”) can then access the Benefits provided by Unipal and its Services.
As part of the Services, Unipal identifies preferences and recommends Benefits and other content that Unipal believes will be of interest to the Members and otherwise personalize the experience of the Members.
3- The Terms
These Terms apply to the Services, which include, without limitation;
www.unipal.me (“Website”);
The Unipal Mobile Application available in The App Store and Google Play (“Student App”)
The Unipal Business Application available in The App Store and Google Play (“Business App”)
any other Unipal-operated online services in or to which these Terms are linked.
Unipal may from time to time introduce updates, bug fixes, and other changes including but not limited to new features, to the Services (“Updates”). Unipal reserves the right to make or not make Updates and if Updates are made then you agree and authorize Unipal to implement Updates with or without notice to you.
4- Account
You promise that any information that you submit to Unipal is true, accurate, and complete and you agree to keep it that way at all times. You agree that you will not create an account for anyone other than yourself, create an account with the intent to impersonate another person or falsify any element of Verification. Unipal reserves the right to deny registration or Verification or to cancel or suspend an account at any time if we detect or suspect a violation of these Terms.
Each registration is for a single user only. You are not allowed to share your registration login credentials or give your login credentials to anyone else. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and for all activities that occur using your account. Failure to comply with the foregoing shall constitute a breach of these Terms, which may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@unipal.me if you detect or suspect unauthorized use(s) of your password, account, or other breaches of security. Please use particular caution when accessing your account from a public or shared computer or sharing your device so that others are not able to view or record your password or other personal data.
Any fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise illegal activity may be grounds for suspension or termination of your account, at our sole discretion, and we may refer you to appropriate law-enforcement agencies. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@unipal.me.
5- Restriction
If you use any Unipal and the Services you are deemed responsible to maintain the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your account, and to the extent permitted by applicable law you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be used in an unauthorized manner. You are responsible for ensuring that the details you provide us with are correct and complete, and for informing us of any changes to the information you have provided.
You must not use any Unipal Services: (i) in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, any Unipal Service, or any access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way, or (ii) for fraudulent purposes, or in connection with a criminal offense or other unlawful activity, or (iii) to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety.
Unipal reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts that are in breach of applicable laws, these Terms or any other applicable guidelines or policies.
You may not create an account if you were previously suspended or terminated from using the Services.
6- Permissions
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Unipal grants you, solely for your non-commercial use, a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and limited right to access and use the Services.
You must use the Services for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes only and not for any fraudulent purposes or in connection with any unlawful activity. You may not access or use, or attempt to access or use, the Services to take any action that could harm us or a third party. Without limiting the foregoing, you must not, and you agree not to, attempt to yourself or encourage or allow any third party to:
gain (or attempt to gain) unauthorised access to the Services or Unipal’s computer systems or networks through hacking, password mining or other means, or to violate the security of any computer or security network;
use the Services in any manner that you know or should know could damage, disable, overburden, or impair Unipal servers or networks;
discriminate, harass, threaten, deceive, embarrass, harm or cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety to others, or otherwise interfere (or attempt to interfere) with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Services;
use the Services on behalf of anyone other than yourself;
copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decode, or otherwise attempt to derive or gain access to any portion of the Services;
remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notice contained in the Services or otherwise infringe or violate the intellectual property rights of any third party;
use any robot, spider, search/retrieval application or other automated device, process or means to access, retrieve, scrape, or index any portion of the Services;
rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, assign, distribute, publish, transfer, or otherwise make available the Services or any feature or functionality of the Services to any third party for any reason;
reformat or frame any portion of the web pages that are part of the Services, including to resell or distribute products; or
use the Services to send any unauthorised or unsolicited commercial or promotional content.
Unipal reserves the right to monitor and record activity in the Services to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Engaging in a prohibited use of the Services may result in suspension or termination of your account (at our sole discretion), as well as civil, criminal, and/or administrative penalties, fines, or sanctions against the user and those assisting the user
7- Limitation of liability
In no event shall Unipal, nor any of its officers, directors and employees, be liable to you for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of Unipal and the Services, whether such liability is under contract, tort or otherwise, and Unipal, including its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of Unipal and the Services.
8- Indemnification
You hereby agree to indemnify Unipal from and against any and all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising out of or in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.
9- Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
10 – Refund Policy
Refunds for paid subscriptions are subject to the conditions outlined below.
Eligibility for Refund
Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

The service was not delivered due to technical issues or errors attributable to us.

There is evidence of a duplicate or erroneous charge.
Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
Partial or full use of the subscription or service.
Cancellation initiated by the user after the subscription period has commenced unless otherwise stated.
Dissatisfaction arising from reasons outside of service performance or technical issues.
Request for Refund
To request a refund, users must contact us within 14 days of the issue occurring and provide relevant details, including:
User ID or invoice number.
A clear explanation of the issue.
Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Additional Considerations
We reserve the right to deny a refund if it is determined that the issue does not align with our eligibility criteria.
This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights as governed by Bahraini consumer protection laws.
11 - Amendments to the Terms
Unipal reserves the right to make changes to any of our services, policies, including these Terms, at any time. You will be subject to the Terms at the time that you use Unipal and the Services. If any of the conditions in these Terms is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
12 - Miscellaneous
These Terms (including our Privacy Policy) contain the sole and entire understanding by and between Unipal and you with respect to the Services and matters contained herein and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the Services.
These Terms inure to the benefit of and are binding on Unipal and your successors and assigns, respectively.
Unipal may assign these Terms to a successor in interest (in whole or in part) but you may not assign the Terms without the prior express written consent of Unipal.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms or to respond to a breach by you or other parties shall not in any way constitute a waiver of our right to enforce subsequently any terms or conditions of these Terms or to act with respect to similar breaches.
If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be construed in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect, as nearly as possible, the intention of the parties, and the remaining provisions will not be affected and remain in full force and effect.
Nothing contained in these Terms creates a relationship of partnership, joint venture, or agency between Unipal and you.
If Unipal is or you are prevented from performing or unable to perform any obligation under these Terms due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of the party invoking this provision, the affected party's performance will be extended for the period of delay or inability to perform due to such cause.
The provisions of these Terms intended by their nature to survive termination or expiration shall so survive the termination of your account or access to all or part of the Services.
Headings and captions are for convenience only. Except as otherwise provided or made clear by the context, use of the words or phrases including, include, in particular, for example, such as, or any similar expression, are to be construed as illustrative and will not limit the sense of the words, descriptions, definitions, phrases, or terms preceding or following those words.
In the event of any discrepancy between a non-English version of these Terms of Service and the English version of these Terms of Service, the English version shall prevail in all respects
13- Entire Agreement
These Terms, including any legal notices and disclaimers contained on this Website, constitute the entire agreement between Unipal and you in relation to your use of Unipal and the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings with respect to the same.
14- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrai
